Researchers, from Cambridge University, India’s National Institute of Technology, and the Indian Institute of Science have successfully developed a deep-learning algorithm that is capable of identifying an individual even when part of their face is obscured or covered by sunglasses or bandanas, as is seen during many protests, rallies and agitations.
